Coldplay are usually in NME and Q and as I am basing my magazine on NME and Q I decided to look at Coldplay. This close up shot helps show Coldplay's target audience the emotion on their face. As they are pretty blank it shows that they are very serious. Also as they are giving direct address it shows that they are not rebellious as they are looking straight at the audience. Also it is not clear who the lead singer is showing they are united as a band. All of these could be a useful technique's to use when taking the photo of my band. This task has helped show me the importance of direct address and how a close up could be an extremely good camera shot to use.
